Politicians Austerity Drive - A reality or a fake propaganda

Recently, more and more political parties in India and abroad are moving towards austerity. They live in tents, they eat like any other common man. But is this act sufficient to call them an austere. By definition, an austere is a human being, who has given all his material belonging, and who lives or practice complete self denial. But from my perspective, its more a fake propaganda rather then a reality. In order to support my perspective, here are some of my reasoning supporting this issue.

1. All those politicians who live in tents, do not come alone, they have their high profile bodyguards with them. They all are have their Z-level security which is available for 24/7 with them.

2. The way they live in tents, may seems quite common and simple from out sides. But if one go inside, one can find all level of comforts. From proper Air Condition, Refrigeration, and entertainment.

3. There is whole cavalcade of cars following these ministers when they try to reach their so called tents. The section through which these cars pass, the whole place remain standstill for a while, which certainly cause inconvenience to those common people, who actually put those ministers in the govt.

4. Even in their austere drive, they are served and helped by hundred of workers or servants.

These points may be sufficient to prove that, these austerity drive is nothing but a fake political propaganda and a try by these politicians to fool once again the common man who put these guys in power.

Thanks&Regards,
Mohit
